Pacific Online Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is principally engaged in the provision of Internet advertising services in the People鈥檚 Republic of China. The Company operates mainly in China. It has three segments: PConline, PCauto and Other. PConline is the Company鈥檚 information technology (IT) and consumer electronics portal. PCauto is its automobile portal. Other segments relate to revenues generated from other portals, including online game, lady, baby and home products, e-commerce and other services. As of December 31, 2010, the Company conducted its online advertising business through GZ Yingxin, Guangdong Pacific Internet Information Service Co., Ltd. (GDP Internet) and the subsidiaries of GDP Internet under the structure contracts entered into with the Company鈥檚 wholly owned subsidiary, Guangzhou Pacific Computer Information Consulting Co., Ltd. Its subsidiaries include Pacific E-Commerce Limited and New Forest Limited.
