China Water Affairs Group Limited is an investment holding company. The Company operates in three segments: Water, Property development and investment and Other infrastructure construction. The water segment operates as City water supply operation and construction and Sewage treatment operation and construction segments, which involves the provision of water supply and sewage treatment operation and construction services (including the transfer-operate-transfer (TOT) and build-operate-transfer (BOT) arrangements). The property development and investment segment involves development of properties for sale and investment in properties. The other infrastructure construction segment involves construction of road and other municipal works. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011 (fiscal 2011), the Company acquired additional 34% interest in China Fortune, and additional 49% interest in China Kolon Water Management Company Limited.
