Dongyue Group Limited is an investment holding company. The Company is engaged in manufacture and sale of refrigerants, fluoropolymers and other chemical products, such as dichloromethane and liquid alkali whilst Dongying Macrolink Salt is principally engaged in the production and sale of industrial salt, which are raw materials for the production of liquid alkali and chlorine and the Company鈥檚 refrigerant and silicone products. In addition, it has also established Shandong Dongyue HFC-23Decomposition Project to decompose certain greenhouse gases generated from its production process in order to reduce greenhouse gases emission. It operates in four segments: refrigerants, polymers, organic silicone and other operations. On 29 June 2010, Shandong Dongyue Fluo-Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. acquired additional 40% interest in its associate, Macro-Link Salt. During the year ended December 31, 2010, it acquired 25% interests in Dongying Macro-Link Precision Chemical Co., Ltd.
