West China Cement Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in production and distribution of cement in Shaanxi Province in the People鈥檚 Republic of China under the name of Yaobai Cement. During the year ended December 31, 2009, production at the Company鈥檚 Pucheng plant was 1.38 million tons and Lantian plant was 2.15 million tons. Its products include Yaobai 32.5 low heat slag Portland slag cement, Yaobai 42.5 low heat Portland cement, Yaobai 42.5 moderate heat Portland cement and Yaobai 42.5 ordinary Portland cement. In January 2010, the Company announced the acquisition of Shaanxi Xiushan Cement (Group) Limited.
