Parkson Retail Group Limited is an investment company. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the operation and management of a network of department stores in the People鈥檚 Republic of China. Its operations cover 30 cities across the People鈥檚 Republic of China. Through its subsidiaries, jointly controlled entities and associates, the Company operated and managed 46 stores, of which 40 were self owned stores and six were managed stores as of December 31, 2010. It offers a range of brands of fashion and lifestyle-related merchandises focusing on four main categories: fashion and apparel, cosmetics and accessories, household, electrical goods and others, and groceries and perishables, targeting the young and contemporary market. Some of its subsidiaries include Grand Parkson Retail Group Limited, Parkson Investment Pte Ltd., Rosenblum Investment Pte Ltd., Exonbury Limited, Parkson Supplies Pte Ltd., Step Summit Limited and Hong Kong Fen Chai Investment Limited.
