Sateri Holdings Limited is engaged in the production of specialty cellulose. The Company produces dissolving wood pulp at its mill in Brazil and viscose staple fibers at its mill in China. It also operates its own wood plantations in Brazil. Its products include both rayon grades and specialty grades of dissolving wood pulp, as well as regular viscose staple fibers. The Company operates in two segments: cellulose products and viscose staple fibers. As of June 30, 2010, it had approximately 150,000 hectares of plantation land. As of June 30, 2010, its Bahia Specialty Cellulose mill had a design annual production capacity of 465,000 metric tons of dissolving wood pulp across two production lines and produced both rayon grades and specialty grades of pulp. On September 30, 2010, it disposed of DP Marketing International Limited, whose principal business was in the trading of pulp. On September 13, 2010, it acquired Sateri Marketing International, which is an investment holding company.

Bahia Specialty Cellulose (BSC)In Brazil, BSC operates 150,000 hectares of plantation land, of which approximately 84,000 hectares are planted with eucalyptus, with its own nursery and research centre dedicated to producing high quality raw material (wood fiber) in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.

Nearby is our Camaçari mill, with a design production capacity of 465,000 tonnes per year of dissolving wood pulp. Its product range is one of the broadest in the industry with end uses varying from paints to cigarette filters, high performance tires, food stuffs, pharmaceuticals, detergents and numerous other items.

Sateri (Jiangxi) Chemical FibreOur Sateri Jiangxi mill in China produces viscose staple fiber which is widely used in a variety of textiles (e.g. rayon) and non-woven applications such as baby and household wipes, personal hygiene products, medical pads and other absorbent products.
