China Mandarin Holdings Limited, formerly Mandarin Entertainment (Holdings) Limited, is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company. The Company operates through four business units: film distribution and licensing, film processing, advertising and promotional services, and property investment. As of December 31, 2009, the Company held a five-storey shopping arcade in Chengdu, Sichuan, the People's Republic of China, which was fully leased out. Its subsidiaries include Adore Capital Limited, Mandarin Films Limited, Grimston Limited, Mandarin Films Distribution Company Limited, Pioneer Films Limited, Elite Films Limited and Mandarin Laboratory Limited. In March 2009, the Company disposed of its subsidiary, Chili Advertising & Promotions Limited, which was engaged in the provision of advertising and promotional services for films. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company disposed of its interest in Film City Enterprises Limited (Film City).
