Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels (Group) Company Limited is engaged in Star-rated hotel operation and management, budget hotel operation and franchising, food and restaurants, and other businesses. It operates in five segments: Star-rated hotels, which is engaged in the ownership, operation and management of star-rated hotels; budget hotels, which includes operation of self-owned budget hotels and franchising to budget hotels owned by other parties; food and restaurants, which includes operation of fast food or upscale restaurants, moon cake production and related investments; other operations in China, which includes intra-group financial services, training and education, and overseas hotels, which includes overseas operation of wholly owned hotels, hotel management services and related sources. On March 18, 2010, the Company acquired 50% interest in IHR Group. On June 21, 2010, Jin Jiang Hotels Development acquired the remaining 8.775% interests in Jin Jiang Inn.
