The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited (HSH) is an investment holding company. The principal activities of its subsidiaries, associates and jointly controlled entity are the ownership, development and management of hotel, commercial and residential properties in Asia, the United States of America and Europe, as well as the provision of transport, club management and other services. It has three segments: Hotels, which includes revenues generated from operating hotels, leasing of commercial shopping arcades and office premises located within the hotel buildings; Commercial Properties, which is engaged in the leasing of commercial and office premises and residential apartments, as well as operating food and beverage outlets in such premises, and Clubs and Services, which involves the operation of golf courses, the Peak Tramways, wholesaling and retailing of food and beverage products, laundry services and the provision of management and consultancy services for clubs.

The Company is a holding company whose subsidiaries are engaged in the ownership and management of prestigious hotel and commercial and residential properties in key destinations in Asia and the USA.
