China Merchants Holdings (International) Company Limited (CMHI) is an investment holding company. The Company is a port investor and operator in the People's Republic of China. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in ports operation and bonded logistics and cold chain operations. Ports operations include container terminal operation, bulk and general cargo terminal operation, logistics park operation, ports transportation and airport cargo handling operated by CMHI and the its associates and jointly controlled entities. Port-related manufacturing operations include construction of modular housing and container manufacturing operated by the Company鈥檚 associate. Other operations include property investment and corporate function. As of December 31, 2010, China Merchants Group Limited (CMG) holds 55.03% interest in the Company. On November 5, 2010, it acquired 47.5% interests of the Tin-Can Island Container Terminal Limited from ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Limited.
