Introduction from Company WebSite

Established in 1972, Shun Tak Holdings Limited ("The Group") (HKSE 242) is a leading conglomerate in Hong Kong with core businesses in transportation, property, hospitality and investments. It has a strong established presence in Macau.

The Group is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 1973 and is currently a constituent stock in the MSCI Hong Kong (Small Cap) Index and the Hang Seng HK MidCap Index.

Transportation
The Group's origin dates back to 1961 when its shipping division was inaugurated. A successful merger in 1999 has made the Group the only operator of 24-hour ferry services between Hong Kong and Macau under the brand name "TurboJET". Today, TurboJET possesses one of the largest fleets of high-speed passenger ferries in Asia, connecting major cities in the fast-growing Pearl River Delta such as Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen. In 2003, TurboJET launched new airport routes that link the Hong Kong International Airport with air passengers to and from Shenzhen and Macau.

On land, the Group operates cross-boundary coach services directly linking Macau with cities in Guangdong Province. It also established a new Macau-based low-cost airline Macau Asia Express in 2006 to operate routes into Mainland China and other Asian destinations. With an expansive inter-regional transportation network spanning sea, land and air, the Group's mission is to utilize it strategically to complement Macau's lively development in the years to come.

Property
As the leading player in the Macau property scene with over 20 years of experience in sales and development, the Group owns one of the largest land banks in the region among Hong Kong-listed companies. With a property development portfolio that includes One Central, Nova City and Harbour Mile, a flagship mixed-use project under development, Shun Tak has always been committed to enhancing residential quality in Macau and is constantly setting new benchmarks in the industry. In addition, the Group's blue-chip developments enjoy a healthy turnover in the property market and have remained an important indicator of Macau's real estate scene.

In Hong Kong, the Group also enjoys an impressive profile comprising residential properties such as Radcliffe, The Belcher's and Liberté as well as commercial complexes such as The Westwood and Liberté Place.

Furthermore, the Group provides property management services for more than 12 million square feet of residential, commercial, industrial and hospitality properties in Macau and Hong Kong, complimented by a range of property cleaning, lifestyle concept and laundry services.

Hospitality
As a pioneer in top-tier hotel services, the Group was first to introduce two global hotel brands to Macau by forming a joint partnership with Mandarin Oriental Macau and Westin Resort Macau, two of the first 5-star hotel establishments in the region. The Group also has interests in the Macau Golf & Country Club, the enclave's premier golfcourse. Joining the impressive portfolio will be a 208-room luxury hotel in One Central managed by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, as well as a premiere 6-star hotel as part of the Harbour Mile. At the same time, Shun Tak is making its mark in the Hong Kong hotel market through a 70% ownership in Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel, the second hotel located at the Hong Kong International Airport.

Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre ("Macau Tower"), managed by the Group, is the region's flagship MICE and entertainment complex featuring world-class convention and exhibition facilities, unique dining options and adventure activities under one roof. A hugely popular tourist destination, Macau Tower has won numerous accolades including "Best Brand Enterprise 2007" by the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Tourism Medal of Merit from Macau SAR Government for its exceptional contributions to Macau's tourism fold.

Investments
The Group has taken active steps to consolidate its position as a leading regional conglomerate in the Pearl River Delta through investments in property, transportation, tourism and hospitality-related businesses. The Group holds a 11.5% effective interest in Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau, S.A. ("STDM"), which in turn owns an approximately 60% equity interest in SJM Holdings Limited. SJM Holdings Limited is the holding company of Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A., one of three casino operators in Macau.

STDM also holds interests in Macau International Airport, Air Macau Company Limited and several hotels in the region, as well as major property and infrastructure projects.

Macau Matters Company Limited, the Group's retail arm, aims to capitalize on opportunities arising from Macau's expanding tourism. It has been operating two major retail outlets, offering quality retail merchandizes to tourists and citizens - Macau's only Toys"R"Us store and Kidz n Joy, both located at Macau Tower. Macau Matters' portfolio has been extended in 2010 to include an all new cosmopolitan lifestyle specialty store – CentralDeli in the Group's flagship property One Central Macau.
