Huadian Power International Corporation Limited is principally engaged in electric power generation and distribution. The Company operates thermal electric power plants, hydropower plants and wind power plants. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the Company generated approximately 130.29 billion kilowatt-hours of electric power. The Company operates its businesses primarily in domestic market. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had 28 subsidiaries and one affiliate, which involved in the generation of electric power, and its holding installed capacity reached approximately 27,418 megawatt.
