Siberian Mining Group Company Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in coal mining in Russia, digital television broadcasting and vertical farming, both in the People鈥檚 Republic of China. The Company operates in two segments. The digital television technology services segment engages in the provision of digital television technology services, including sale of cable video-on-demand systems, information broadcasting systems and embedded television systems. The mining segment comprises the holding a mining right of a coal mine in Russia and will be engaged in mining of coal. In August 2009, the Company disposed of its garment and premium segment engaged in the manufacture and trading of garment and premium products. On May 25, 2009, it completed the acquisition of 90% interest in Langfeld Group. On August 10, 2009, it disposed of Falcon Vision Group.
