Mobicon Group Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the trading and distribution of electronic parts, components and equipment, and computer products and accessories. It has two business segments: Electronic Trading Business and Computer Business. Electronic Trading Business is engaged in distribution of electronic components, automation parts and equipment. Computer Business is engaged in retail sales of computer products and accessories, distribution of computer products and provision of information technology outsourcing and solution services. Its subsidiaries include APower Holdings Limited, AESI (HK) Limited, Conwise Power Limited and DV Power Limited.

Mobicon Electronic Supplies Company (today’s Mobicon Group Limited) was established in 1983, initially engaged in retail and wholesale business of electronic components and computer in local market and then involved in the agentship operation. We distributed local manufacturers and oversea customers with branded exported electronic components. In 2001, Mobicon went public on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, with stock code 1213. Today, Mobicon’s business reaches globally. We maintain the trading and distribution of electronic components, equipment, automation, computer and computer accessories.

In order to further expand the international business operation, apart from the headquarter in Hong Kong, Mobicon has continuously set up its branches including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippine, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa. We aim at sourcing the worldwide best products and offer to the whole customers.

The Group has adopted "Satellite Development Strategy" to reinforce and expand its market through forming strategic alliances with local and overseas distributors that show good potential and leveraging their market positions by offering financial, management and marketing support so as to achieve mutual advantage. Synergy among the satellite companies has expanded the Group's product lines, strengthened its bargaining power and enhanced the procurement process as well. Moreover, this strategy has hastened the Group's development in both Hong Kong and overseas markets.

Under the strategy, we have 3 satellite companies that tie in our electronic components business, they are MCU Power Limited, DV Power Limited and Milliard Devices Limited. These 3 satellite companies continue to develop various professional application solutions including MP3/ MP4 solutions, RFID solution, automobile Bluetooth sound system solutions and LED lighting solutions etc., offering a more comprehensive service of a higher quality.

Another satellite group, APower Holdings Limited, Maxfair Distribution Limited, AESI (HK) Limited, Create Tech Software Systems Limited and Videocom Technology (HK) Limited, act as a key role in the Group’s Computer business. APower and Maxfair devote themselves to consumer electronics and digital products distribution, they put many effort in distribution and brand management. AESI and Create Tech have formed a professional IT management team and enabled the Group to master the knowledge and technique in developing computer hardware, software as well as IT maintenance. While Videocom engages in computer retail business and expands through Internet platform by www.videocom.com.hk.  

There are abundant varieties of electronic products available in the market, but the demand of large-volume orders for individual products is low. Therefore we have “Small Order Services” that allows Mobicon to further expand its client networks and strengthen the company’s competitiveness. 

Our customers are over 5000 and located in 72 countries. And we have developed close relationship with over 500 suppliers, it is an advantage for us when we source components.
