Winsway Coking Coal Holdings Limited is engaged in the procurement of coking coal from around the world, particularly from Mongolia and the provision of services to its customers in China. These services include sourcing, transportation, storage, processing and sale of coking coal. The Company has established an integrated end-to-end service platform comprising its logistics parks and border crossing infrastructure and coal processing plants and road and railway transportation capabilities through its arrangements with third-party transportation companies. It sources a portion of its coking coal from its Mongolia-based suppliers, and through arrangements between its suppliers, a third-party transportation company and the Company, Mongolian coal is transported directly from its suppliers' mines to its logistics parks in Gants Mod and Ceke. On June 29, 2010, the Company acquired a 50% interest in Peabody-Winsway JV from Polo Resources Cooperatief.

Winsway Coking Coal Holdings Limited ("Winsway" or "the Company") is one of the leading suppliers of imported coking coal and particularly, one of the single largest offtaker of Mongolian coking coal into China in terms of volume purchased in 2009. Winsway's business includes procurement, transportation, storage, processing and marketing of coking coal, servicing the Chinese steel industry at large. Being one of the pioneers in large-scale transportation of Mongolian coking coal into China, Winsway is also one of the few companies that own key logistics and transportation infrastructures at the Sino-Mongolian border crossings, serving the entire Mongolian supply base. Our border crossing facilities and capacities are meeting the demand by our Mongolian mining partners to access the Chinese market, guaranteeing them positive returns.

Winsway was incorporated in the British Virgin Islands on 17 September 2007. The Company has established branches in Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, Macau and Brisbane (Australia). Winsway was listed on the main board of HKEX on 11 October 2010.

Serving as a major gateway connecting global coking coal supplies with Chinese customers, besides coking coal supply, Winsway also provides end-to-end services to customers through an integrated platform consisting of logistics parks, coal processing plants, and road & railway transportation capabilities.

As the single largest importer of Mongolian coal by volume and an importer of seaborne coals, Winsway has built a stable and growing customer base of over 60 steel makers and coking plants in China. As one of the pioneers in large-scale transportation of Mongolian coking coal into China, Winsway enjoys favorable conditions in creating stable and cost effective scalable operations.Winsway will invest a further USD 400 million in the next 2 years on the development of logistics infrastructure, transportation and coking coal processing capability, in order to meet the need of our customers. These additional capacities will furthermore ensure coal producers from Mongolia, Russia and seaborne, a smooth access to the largest coking coal market in the world.
