Lextar officially acquired LightHouse Technology Inc. in March 2010, the largest LED packaging house in Taiwan for TFT-LCD backlight application.  Lextar currently has 3 manufacturing plants in Taiwan and one in Suzhou, China.

The new manufacturing site in Suzhou, China is the first flagship LED enterprise in Suzhou Science Industrial Park, integrating the upper stream, middle stream, and downstream manufacturing. Covering a land area of over 240,000 square meters, the facility will be ready for production in 2012.  It will become Lextar's biggest LED production base in mainland China.
