Refineries in South China are expected to produce 92,000mt of fuel oil commodity in August, down by 16% from the previous month, C1's research found.
The output comprises of 46,000mt of residue, 36,000mt of slurry and 10,000mt of bituminous feedstock.
Ten major refineries are forecast to provide 66,000mt of fuel oil in August, down by 3% on month; the supply from 17 minor refineries might plunge 37% to 26,000mt in total.
