August 11 – Beijing Originwater Technology (300070.SZ) posted a 26.4-percent surge in net profits for the first half of 2011 to 60.02 million yuan, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing. All percentage changes in this report are year-on-year.

Sewage processing solutions generated revenues of 144 million yuan, down 10 percent. However, the firm recorded a 16.4-percent rise in total revenues to 200 million yuan.

Sewage processing solution’s gross profit margin rose 7.16 percent from the same period last year. The firm recognized 74.31 million yuan in earnings from stock sale fees, accounting for 10 percent of total profits.
