August 19, 2011 -- The International PV Equipment Association (IPVEA) will gather executives from Trina Solar, LDK Solar and other companies for the FAB Manager Panel Discussion, PV Production Forum, at EU PVSEC in September.
The European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) is held September 5-8, 2011 at the International Fair Hamburg, Germany. The PV Production Forum 2011 is jointly organized by EU PVSEC and IPVEA. The forum will be held Tuesday, September 6, 8:30-6.
The FAB Manager Panel Discussion brings together veteran viewpoints from "progressive, high-performing production fabs," moderated by Mark Osbourne, senior editor, PV-Tech.org.
Panelists include:
•Huang Qiang, Vice President of Technology at TRINA SOLAR LIMITED and Director of State Key Lab of PV Science and Technology, China. He is the national expert representative for China in the IEC TC82 International Technical Committee working on international PV standards.
•Dr. Florian Holzapfel, Chief Executive Officer, Calyxo GmbH, via the management board of Q-Cells.
•Dr. Pietro Rossetto, Chief Engineer of Wafer Unit and Vice Director of Tech Center, LDK Solar, has been involved in the manufacturing of mono and multi crystals and wafers for the PV industry for more than 5 years.
•Dr. Stuart Wenham, Chief Technology Officer, Suntech and Scientia Professor and the Director of the Centre of Excellence for Advanced Silicon Photovoltaics and Photonics, at the University of New South Wales in Australia.
The panelists will discuss best practices and case studies in PV production management, purchasing, and product management.
