HONG KONG (Dow Jones)--Hong Kong shares ended higher Monday, led by oil refiner China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., or Sinopec, and boosted by U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's latest speech.
The blue-chip Hang Seng Index rose 282.23 points, or 1.44%, to end at 19,865.11, after trading between 19,749.40 and 19,919.34. Market volume totaled HK$53.05 billion, down from HK$58.71 billion Friday.
