September 7 -- Agile Property Holdings (3383.HK) released that its home transaction value grew 43 percent year-on-year to 20.1 billion yuan in the first eight months, reports guandian.cn, citing a company filing. Transaction area grew 35 percent year-on-year to 1.9 million square meters. The average transaction price rose six percent year-on-year to 10,584 yuan per square meter.

In August, transaction value and area was 2.3 billion yuan and 250,000 square meters, with an average price of 9,353 yuan per square meter.

The real estate market in Guangzhou remained sluggish due to the execution of purchase restriction regulations. But Agile started to promote its sales with the coming peak season that is September and October. It launched several new developments in the second half and made encouraging transactions thereafter, the source said.
