September 29 -- Hytera Communications (002583) reported that it plans to spend 186 million yuan to purchase factory buildings and land use rights from Shenzhen Lapin Lighting Technology, reports p5w.cn, citing the company’s announcement.

The factory buildings are located in Baolong Industry Zone in Longgang district of Shenzhen and include two buildings with total construction area of 654,000 square meters. Hytera Communications plans to move its current production lines in Shenzhen into the buildings and build facilities that will produce wireless communication digital terminals and digital trunking systems in the factory buildings.

Hytera acquired Rohde and Schwarz Professional Mobile Radio GmbH (PMR) in June. The factory buildings will be used as PMR’s production base.
