November 4 -- Anhui Jianghuai Automobile (600418.SH) recorded a 7.51 percent year-on-year fall in auto sales to 31,500 units in October, while sales of chassis rose 5.87 percent to 36,200 units, reports China Business Journal, citing a company filing.

A total of 9,117 autos were produced in October, an increase of 7.15 percent year-on-year. Compared with the previous month, the growth rate was down 22.13 percentage points.

However, sales of passenger cars rose due to the strong performance of exports.

Sales of passenger cars rose 22.24 percent year-on-year to 11,200 units in October, with the growth rate up 8.85 percentage points from September. Of the total, 4,753 units were exported, up 162.6 percent.
