Gasgoo.com (Shanghai November 14) - Chongqing-based Changan Automobile will be showing off four new models at the Guangzhou International Motor Show, the Beijing News reported today. The show, which will be held from November 22 to November 28, will also see the debut of Changan's new engine and drivetrain brand, BlueCore.
Among its offerings, Changan will be bringing over its new Eado compact (pictured), which made its global debut at September's Frankfurt Motor Show. The Eado is the product of three years of around the clock work by Changan's research and development system, which has nine centers spanning five countries. Additionally, the manufacturer will be targeting the entry-level market by bringing out a brand new subcompact called the B501. The redesigned BenBen Mini is also scheduled to make its official introduction.
The BlueCore brand will also be introduced at the event. According to sources from within Changan, the BlueCore name will include Changan's TEi, I-GDI, TC and other independently developed engines, as well as its self-made transmission systems.
