November 18 -- CSR Corporation (601766.SH, 1766.HK) and China CNR Corporation (601299.SH) received another round of payments from the Ministry of Railways, reports yicai.com.
CSR obtained 10.6 billion yuan, while CNR was paid 12.7 billion yuan. The remaining amounts are expected to be paid by the end of 2011.
CSR Corporation obtained a payment of six billion yuan at end October, while CNR Corporation received 4.5 billion yuan.
According to a source familiar with the situation, the Ministry of Railways owed 23 billion yuan to CSR Corporation, and 21 billion yuan to CNR Corporation through the end of the third quarter.
CSR Corporation had accounts receivable of 35.1 billion yuan at the end of the third quarter, up 214 percent from the beginning of 2010.
During the same period, CNR Corporation recorded a 126 percent rise in accounts receivable to 24.5 billion yuan.
