Microsoft on December 1 announced the launch of MCloud 2.0, its new-generation hybrid cloud computing solutions consisting of public cloud and private services as well as the beginning of 3-month trial use of Office 365 in the Taiwan market, according to vice president and marketing strategy general manager Xie Enwei for Microsoft Greater China.
There have been many successful cases of private cloud solutions adopted by enterprises in various industries since Microsoft launched MCloud in the Taiwan market two years ago, Xie indicated. MCloud 2.0 offers more flexibility in using IT resources by allowing enterprises to use public, private or hybrid cloud computing services based on their needs, Xie said.
Microsoft will launch Office 365 and Windows Azure in the Taiwan market in 2012.
