According to the latest Official Business Vehicle Procurement Regulations in China, displacement of general official business vehicle and law-enforcement vehicle was reduced from 2.0L to 1.8L, and price down from RMB 250,000 to RMB180,000. Therefore, many joint venture vehicle brands are excluded from the procurement list due to their high displacement and price, while home-grown brands will have more development opportunities.
