On Dec. 5 2011, Sichuan Jiangtong Rare Earth singed agreement with JLMAG RARE-EARTH Co., Ltd. to jointly establish Sichuan Jiangtong Rare Earth Magnetic Materials Co., Ltd. With investment of nearly RMB100 million, they will construct NdFeB project (4,000 ton/year) in rare earth industrial park in Mianning county, producing raw material for high-performance NdFeB magnetic materials.

Sichuan Jiangtong Rare Earth Magnetic Materials Co., Ltd, newly founded, will give full play to its advantage in upstream raw material resources as well as the superiority of Jinli Permanent Magnet in technology and downstream markets, and devotes itself to the production, R& D and marketing of high-performance NdFeB magnetic materials. The 4000 tons/year NdFeB project is planned to start construction in mid-December, 2011 and put into production in 2012, which is expected to yield annual sales of RMB 2 billion.

In addition, JLMAG RARE-EARTH Co., Ltd. will also invest RMB 400 million in high-performance NdFeB magnetic body project (4,000 tons/year), to form a series of products including application of rare earth permanent magnetic material and deep processing high value-added products.
