SOUND Global (00967.HK) said that it has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary, Fushun Qingxu Environment Co., Ltd., in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, the PRC. With a registered capital of US$5 million, the subsidiary's principal activity is wastewater treatment and utilisation, and development of environmental protection project.

Sound Global does not expect the transaction to have material impact on its net earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the financial year ending 31 December 2011.
