China Nonferrous Metals Company (HKG:8306) said that comparing the information currently available with the results of the group for the year ended 31 December 2010, the net profit of the group for the year ended 31 December 2011 is expected to be reduced.

The reduction in net profit of the group for the year is mainly attributed to a reduction in income from forward trading and the cessation of indent trading activities as from 1 January 2011.

The annual results announcement of the company for the year ended 31 December 2011 is expected to be released in March 2012.
