New Focus Auto Tech Holdings (HKG:0360) announces that John Hong Wei-pi has resigned with effect from 1 February 2012 as the CEO of the company, but will remain as an executive director and the chairman of the company.

The company also said that Raymond N. Chang has been appointed as an executive director and the CEO of the company with effect from the same date.

Hong resigned as the CEO in order to be focused on providing the leadership for the board of directors and to comply with the provisions of the listing rules which provide that the roles of the chairman and the CEO should be separate and should not be performed by the same individual, the company said.
