From Feb 4 to 8, a team sent by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) will embark on a field trip to Libya to inspect Chinese investments there, the Beijing Times reported.
The team will travel to cities including Tripoli and Benghazi and exchange notes with Lybian counterparts on protection of China's investments and involvement in the post-war construction in Lybia.
Chinese enterprises mainly focus on housing, rail construction and telecommunication programs in Lybia.
Wang Shenyang, director of the Department of Outbound Investment and Economic Cooperation of the MOC, will head the team, which consists of representatives from China International Contractors Association, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, China Gezhouba (Group) Corporation, Power Construction Corporation of China, Huawei and ZTE Corporation.
