Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) on March 12 reported net profit of NT$2.89 billion (US$97.5 million) for February 2012, resulting in January-February net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.8.

CHT indicated it had 2.48 million FTTx (fiber to the home/building) subscribers as of the end of February, with 484,000 of which using download speeds of 50Mbps or above.

Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) have also released their financial figures for February.
