In a March 14 public filing, Chinese software firm Anhui USTC iFlytek (002230.SZ) announced that it had signed a three-year strategic partnership agreement with China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) for cooperation in the fields of intelligent voice technology research and applications. The partnership will emphasize cooperation in the areas of mobile internet, mobile music services, call center and customer support services, and the use of intelligent voice technology to increase the competitiveness of automotive industry solutions. iFlytek and China Unicom will establish a joint workgroup to coordinate project partnerships between the two companies.
