China Telecom yesterday (March 27) formally launched the Tianyi open platform (open.189.cn) and signed cooperation agreements with eight domestic Internet companies including Baidu, Dianping, Kaixin001, Renren, Sohu, Tencent, UC and Sina.
General manager of China Telecom's innovation business unit, Xiao Jinxue said the Tianyi open platform was independently developed by China Telecom based on cloud computing platform "Yiyun".
