September 6 – Shanghai Haibo (600708) reported that Shanghai Haibo Taxi Service plans to buy Shanghai Qiangsheng Taxi Service and some of its related assets for 118 million yuan, reports the Oriental Morning Post, citing a company filing.

Haibo Taxi obtained a total of 350 new-energy taxis that served the Shanghai World Expo and operation licenses from the counterparts. The cars had a total appraised value of 7.23 million yuan with intangible assets such as operation license valuing 111.3 million yuan.

Qiangsheng predicts that transaction will earn it roughly 40 million yuan in net profits.
