China National Complete Plant Import and Export (000151), a company which trades in equipment and general merchandise, won a $145 million contract to build a sugar cane factory and related facilities in Ethiopia, with daily capacity of 6,000 tons, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing.

According to the company, the contract is expected to have a positive impact on its financial status and earnings in 2012 and 2013.

The design and construction of the facilities are to be completed over the next 12 months.
