HTC is stepping into the IoV (Internet of Vehicle) market and has one of its in-car wireless devices, the Think+ Touch OBU 2015, certified by Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC), according to industry sources.
The Think+ Touch OBU 2015 features Bluetooth, GPS navigation, a lane departure warning system, tire pressure monitoring system and sonar-based collision avoidance system, while supporting Android 4.4 KitKat platform.
The new device will help HTC expand its product portfolio and also ramp up sales of its mobile devices.
