The consumption of household appliances in rural areas still kept prosperous in October.In October, 2012,the sales of household appliances going to the countryside hit 7.91million units nationwide except Shandong, Henan, Sichuan and Qingdao, and the sales amount achieved ￥21.38 billion, year-on-year drop of 24.2% and 22.5% respectively (year-on-year growth of 27.5% and 26% in comparable terms). From Jan. to Oct. 2012, the sales figure registered 65.22 million units and ￥175.2 billion, down 21.3% and 16.6% year on year, separately.
