Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd (000538.SZ) issued an interim report on August 19, 2011, showing net profits hit CNY 564 million in the first half of this year, growing 30.8% over the same period of a year earlier.

In the reporting period, operating revenue hit CNY 5.074 billion, growing 12.7% over the same period of a year earlier; revenue from industrial products arrived at CNY 1.87 billion, growing 16.63% over the same period of a year earlier; revenue from wholesale and retail of drugs hit CNY 3.197 billion, growing 10.68% over the same period of a year earlier.

In the second half of this year, the company will continue focusing on the overall removal work, continue the work in the first half of this year, and lead corporate structure adjustment and industrial upgrade.

According to data issued by the National Bureau of Statistics of the nation, total sales revenue from the pharmaceutical manufacturing hit CNY 656.5 billion in the first half of this year, growing 30.03% over the same period of a year earlier; total profits hit CNY 65.7 billion in the first half of this year, growing 2.67% over the same period of a year earlier.
