BNBM post-doctoral center was established in 1999 approved by HaidianGarden of Zhongguancun Science and Technology zone, which was the first post-doctoral center in building material industry. July 2009, the expansion of the company’s business posed high demand for technical support and BNBM introduced the first batch of 3 post-doctors in order to further promote the integration of industry, learning and research, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and raise the technological competitiveness of BNBM. August 2nd 2011, the report meeting of BNBM post-doctoral center was successfully held.     

The expert panel consists of BNBM Party Secretary and Deputy GM Mr. Zhang Nailing, Deputy GM and Sr. Engineer Mr. Wu Fade, as well as Sr. expert Ms. Feng Julian etc. The expert panel unanimously gives consensus to the graduation of the 3 post-doctors. Panel leaser Mr. Zhang Nailing also gives guidance and requirements for their work: 1 the future research work will be on the core products of BNBM: gypsum board, mineral fiber board, rock wool, fiber cement siding, paint and new houses; 2 the research should have foresight. As the leader of new building materials industry, BNBM should not only lead in industry scale but also in technology innovation. Only through Technology innovation, can we increase the added value. At the same time, we should get to know the development trend and science and technology of the leading research and bring in scientific research talents; 3 the research should be practical. The research of a company should solve the practical problems encountered during production or in the market, such as reduce energy consumption, utilize waste heat, decrease cost, and improve product quality, automatic level, and qualified product etc.

Post-doctoral center is a part of Talent Strategy of BNBM. Post-doctors not only provide support of the scientific research but also improve the creativity and foresight in the industry, consolidating the leading position of BNBM in the industry.    

By setting up post-doctoral center, BNBM establishes deep relationship with Tsinghua University, China University of Geosciences, BeijingForestryUniversity and BeihangUniversity, greatly improving the scientific research level, self-innovation and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
