February 27th, 2012, morning, Sany Heavy Machinery Lingang Industrial Park was put into operation. Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Committee Yu Zhengsheng was present, and unveiled the first machine produced in the industrial park. The 1500 mu industrial park is located in Shanghai, with a total investment of CNY 4 billion, mainly manufacturing and selling 20t-30t class medium-sized excavators. When completed, the industrial park will become the world’s largest excavator manufacturing base, with annual production capacity of 40000 excavators and production value of CNY 30 billion.
