The Fujian-based New Hua Du announced today that it signed agreements with a Swiss sports product retailer IIC-INTERSPORT International Corporation GmbH and it acquired IIC’s franchise to open INTERSPORT retail stores.

IIC, registered in Berne, Switzerland, was specialized in distribution and retail of sports products. According to the announcement, IIC had more than 5,300 stores in over 40 countries around the world and its sales revenue exceeded 10.1 billion euro. It also had a wholly-owned subsidiary in Shenzhen, China.
