7 Days Inn would have at least 2,000 hotels by 2014 and 6,000 in the future, said its chief executive officer Zheng Nanyan at the economy hotel chain’s 7th anniversary celebration on March 15.
“Expansion is one of the current boosts for economy hotel brands in China. 7 Days Inn, as a single-branded operator, can increase its performance only by making expansion,” said Zheng Nanyan.
Its financial report for the fourth quarter of 2011, which was released last week, showed that its total sales revenue in 2011 increased by 34.1% to 2.128 billion yuan and its adjusted EBITDA grew by 30.6% to 456 million yuan (about $7.24 million).
