March 20, morning, the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase I of XCMG Shanghai Lingang Base was held in Fengxian Park of Shanghai Lingang Logistics Park. Many government officials, leaders of XCMG Group, members of the project, part matching suppliers, and media together witnessed the significant moment with milestone meaning.

XCMG Shanghai Lingang Base is built by XCMG Group with all their efforts, and it will be the largest construction equipment R&D and manufacturing base in China except that in Xuzhou. The base covers 2330 mu, with total investment of over 10 billion yuan, mainly producing excavator, bulldozer, large construction equipment, and machines and high-end parts especially for overseas market.
