ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) vice president Xu Ming said recently that the Chinese telecom equipment and terminal manufacturer had established a new government and enterprise networks division tasked with providing network solutions to government and industry clients in January 2012. The company hopes for the new division to achieve revenues of USD 6 bln or higher by 2015, maintaining a roughly 50% annual compound growth rate over the coming three to four years. ZTE's overall strategy calls for the company to balance its energies between the operator market, the government and enterprise market, and the terminals market moving forward, and for government and enterprise network revenues to account for no less than 25% to 30% of ZTE's overall revenues.
