According to the latest data issued by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in mid-July (July 11-20) China's average daily output of crude steel was 1.95 million mt, down by just 0.26 percent compared to the average daily output for early July (July 1-10).
In particular, the average daily crude steel output of CISA member enterprises in mid-July came to 1.62 million mt, decreasing by 0.2 percent compared to early July.
In late June, overall Chinese average daily output of crude steel reached 2.02 million mt, up 3.22 percent compared to mid-June. This was the first time average daily crude steel output in China exceeded 2 million mt.
