Aug. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Gemdale Corp.’s net income in the first half of the year fell 61 percent from a year earlier to 478.3 million yuan, according to the company’s statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Aug. 19.

The property developer will keep expanding its investment in the second- and third-tier cities this year, the statement said.
