Asustek Computer expects its consolidated revenues for third-quarter 2011 to increase 20-25% sequentially, according to company CEO Jerry Shen at an August 26 investors conference.
However, gross margin for the third quarter may drop as competitors clear inventories in Europe, Shen said.
Of the second-quarter 2011 consolidated revenues, 58% came from notebooks, 18% from motherboards and graphics cards, 9% from Eee PCs, 6% from tablet PCs and 1% from smartphones.
