Taiwan-based PCB maker Taiwan PCB Techvest (TPT) has been receiving increasing orders for TFT-LCD PCBs from South Korea, with revenues rising to 38% of total currently, according to the company.
In addition, TPT cut into the supply chains of four Taiwan-based notebook ODMs and started shipments of IT PCBs in July 2011, with revenues proportion exceeding 10% in September, the company indicated.
Xiangfeng Electronics (Zhongshan), TPT's subsidiary PCB maker in southern China, will expand its monthly production capacity from 300,000 square feet currently to 900,000 square feet at the end of 2011 mainly to meet growing demand for TFT-LCD PCBs. T-Mac Techvest PCB, another TPT subsidiary, will expand monthly capacity of IT PCBs at its factory in eastern China from 600,000 square feet currently to 1.2 million square feet at the end of 2011, TPT pointed out.
TPT hit record revenues of NT$1.523 billion (US$51.2 million) in September 2011 and its revenues of NT$4.13 billion for the third quarter were also a new quarterly record.
